Can you paint a Colorbond roof?

Yes. Once the paint on a Colorbond roof has faded or chalked, it can be cleaned, primed where needed and recoated with a roof coating. It’s a lot cheaper than replacing the sheets.

How long does a roof recoat last?

With proper cleaning and prep and a quality roof coating, you can expect many years before it needs doing again. Full sun and coastal exposure will shorten that. We’ll talk you through the options when we quote.

Should I choose a light roof colour?

Lighter colours and heat-reflective coatings reflect more of the sun’s heat, which can help keep the house cooler in a Perth summer. Darker colours work too, and we can recommend heat-reflective versions.
