Can laminate or melamine cabinets be painted?
In most cases, yes. They need thorough cleaning, sanding and a bonding primer designed for smooth surfaces so the paint grips properly. We’ll check your cabinets when we quote.
How long does it take to paint kitchen cabinets?
Most kitchens take a few days, allowing for prep, primer, top coats and proper drying time between coats. We’ll plan it so you can keep using the kitchen as much as possible.
Is painting cabinets cheaper than replacing them?
Usually by a long way. If the cabinet boxes and doors are in good condition, painting gives you a new look for a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen.
